The stated W (Watt) rating is the maximum incandescent lamp load. Ratings for Magnetic Low Voltage (MLV) loads represent the maximum of the total lamp wattage plus MLV transformer loss (typically 20%)
Important Notes:
Do not use for electronic low voltage lighting
Do not use with compact fluorescent lamps
in multi-location applications, only one dimmer can be used
Use dimmer with core and coil low voltage transformers
Cannot use with 3-way or 4-way switches
Connect only No. 12 or 14 gauge copper or copper-clad wire to this device. Do not connect aluminim wire to this device. See device for strip length
In multi-phase applications, use a separate neutral with each phase containing a control circuit
